Crazy Statistics - Atleast one of the below will surely happen !

Just like every other lazy blogger, I'd discontinued my blogging half way. I actually wanted to continue from where I left in my previous post. But for me to compile the entire story since then, I've either got to be Valmiki or Vyasa. Neither do I have enough punctuation's in my life like Valmiki, nor do I have lord Ganesha to type it all on my keyboard. Thus my valiant attempt to complete my world cup journey, meets a premature halt. But don't be surprised if you find some instances peppered here and there in between my other posts.

This time I've decided to continue blogging with current issues and happenings with a sense of born-sarcasm. I realized a bit late that blogs are mirrors to what you feel and probably not of what you have felt. 'What I feel' can be impulsive and with the trend, where even the few people who read my posts feel that they're not reading some outdated piece of crap.

After thorough analysis of my blog, by spending some money and time, there are a few demographic details that I have been supported with. The following results of a study can induce 2 sets of reactions. Group-A " Shocking; insulting; unbelievable; not interesting; on-the-face; this is just crap; why am I even reading this?; I need more pain, I will continue reading it."  or "crazy; superb; 'Whadda study'; outstanding; Good thought; I think I need to follow him on twitter."

Out of the 430 visits to my blog so far, 137 visits were by males, who visited my blog through a laptop, when they were home alone. Out of that 137, 64 of them were single. I'm clearly not responsible for that (don't blame my thumbnail, especially when I'm fully clothed). I was just talking about cricket! The remaining 73 men, accessed my blog while they were at office. They had opened my blog on a separate window, scrolled down to the end, kept it dormant & toggled at unequal intervals. Clearly suggesting that they were more engaged on the "News-sense" & "Feed for thought" apps much more than my blog. Jerks !

76 visits were by females, who visited my blog through their desktops. Out of the 76 female visits, only 13 of them were single, who never returned to my blog & the remaining 63 of them were married women having 1 child or more. Looks like I have unceremoniously been disliked by women (single/married). Follow this interesting observation, women have spent 45 seconds more on my blog than men. In that 45 seconds,  the first 30 seconds there were no clicks or scrolls. The next 15 seconds aggregated to a finger-crunching 68 clicks & 31 scrolls, up & down. That stat was as baffling as reading a women's mind.

42 visits to my blog were by children, out of which 15 children who were above 15, bounced within 10 seconds. The remaining 27 of them were below 15, who spent 60 seconds on the blog. Incidentally all the 27 kids were from south-east Asia, who spent all their 60 seconds in trying to report me for having Buddha's picture as my blog background. Technically I had 42 brats who dint know how to report abuse for the right reason & who were alien to cricket, visiting my blog. I'd be more than happy if they stuck to their hentai stuff and not waste their time in reading my blog with their "Spoof of human - Miniature eyes."

The remaining 175 visits was by me, to check if there were any further visits. Cant get more desperate.

Of the 255 total visits (discounting my mammoth 175 visits), 183 of them have up-streamed (immediate site visited after my blog) to google.com, in search of my identity & address (home & IP). I was initially happy to see such a number, but later realized that of the 183, 115 of them threatened to break my wrist if I had continued writing. The remaining 68 of them simply wanted me dead 'Gadaffi style'. In fact, they have created something like a 'Like' button, calling it "Stamp/Kick/Punch" & even a special move button, with a combination of the users wish. But what remains to be the highlight is the remaining population of 72 who up-streamed, went onto learn more about cricket and are now cricket fanatics, after reading my blog - but just haven't bothered to return to my blog after visiting it once. An Unanimous comment says " We need cricket & not crap." Shady creatures !

The above stats have taught me more than just a lesson. But this was just the perfect kick start I needed to continue my discontinued, disregarded, dis-whatever blog.

Bottom line - Of the total 255 unique visitors, not even one visitor:
  • Shared my blog
  • 'Liked' it on any other social media platform.
  • Created a fan page
  • Hailed my experience
  • Called & threatened me
  • Reported abuse
  • Understood that was Buddha on the background
But henceforth, atleast one of the above shall surely happen. I'm back to blogging !
